With its full HD, front and rear recording capabilities, the Z-Edge S4 brings ultimate value and performance right into your car. This dash cam is fitted with high-end parts, including a NTK96663 chipset, 6G lens and OV4689 as well as IMX323 image sensors. Those high-performance parts account for the superior quality of images both in high and low light compensation (i.e. during the day and at night).

Each of the two cameras provides an ultra-wide viewing angle of 1500, which is more than sufficient to help you keep track of everything that is happening around your vehicle. In case of an incident or accident, the dash cam’s full HD videos and 12MP photos will capture signs and license plates very clearly.

Dual recording in HD:

The dash cam features a front and rear camera, both of which record images simultaneously in full and super HD. While the default resolution is 1920 x 1080P at 30FPS, there’s an option to disconnect the rear camera and bump up the resolution to 2560 x 1440P at 30FPS. You can also take photos at 12 megapixels.

Night vision

The camera is fitted with a super-sensitive SONY image sensor in the front and rear recorders. The sensor not only compensates for high and low light but also balances exposure. It also reduces glare, ultimately delivering unmatched video quality at night.

Automatic recording:

The Z-Edge S4 starts recording automatically when you ignite your vehicle and switches off automatically when the car’s engine goes off. That’s a very important power-saving feature that will also ensure that you don’t forget to switch the camera on. There is, however, a 24/7 built-in parking mode that triggers recording when the dash cam senses a crash, motion or vibration. In addition, the dash cam has a built-in 600mAH battery that can provide power for up to 30 minutes if your car is off or can’t provide the power for any other reason.

Wide angle of view:

Both the front and rear cameras have an ultra-wide angle of view of 1500. That is more than enough to record the entire road and everything else that is around your vehicle. The wide angle makes it possible to use the camera even on a car whose windshield is near vertical in design. Plus you can fully adjust the camera’s tilt up or down.

Easy-to-use interface:

With a 4-inch screen, the S4 offers a very wide display for you to stay in the loop with what the cameras can view. The touch buttons make it very easy to control the camera. They have self-explanatory icons beside them to help you with camera controls. If you don’t want to record audio you can turn it off with the click of a single button.

Great design:

There’s no doubt that the Z-Edge S4 excels in performance, both in video and photo recording. Even better news is that the excellent performance doesn’t come in a compromised package. The unit measures 4.7 by 2.9 by 2.9 inches and weighs a mere 5.9 ounces. That construction makes it small and light enough to fit on the windshield of any car without obstructing the driver. The package includes an adhesive mount and a 32GD SD memory card. The camera uses loop recording for efficient storage of video.

  • Option for automatic and manual video protection from deletion.
  • Quick release mount makes it easy to remove or reposition front camera.
  • Very easy to install.
  • Comes with 30-day money-back guarantee and 18-month warranty.
  • Very affordable unit considering quality of images.
  • Comes with a USB cable and dual port USB adapter.
  • Performance is not affected by weather conditions.
  • Screen has off timer for saving energy.

The rear camera is not waterproof, so you can’t mount it outside the car. Despite that fact, the Z-Edge S4 does offer everything you need to drive safely and enjoy every single moment in your car. The high-quality images will come in handy, whether you want them for memories or as proof in case of an accident or incident.
