Description
Accidents happen! It wouldn’t be entirely shocking to find yourself involved in one, whether by your fault or someone else’s. In the heat of the moment, it can become really hard to see or comprehend what happened clearly.
However, if you have a dash cam in your car all that becomes a lot easier.
One of the best dash cams to come on the market recently is the KDLINKS X3. A 2018 model, this unit packs several handy features that you might find invaluable, whether you’re driving on a day-long trip or your daily commute.
Standout Features of KDLINKS X3
The X3 is a front-facing dash cam with a 2.7K (2688 x 1520) super HD resolution. That’s some superior quality considering most dash cams, including some that use the latest technology, can barely record beyond 1080P.
Even better, with the X3 you get the same high quality in all lighting conditions. It’s built with a 6-glass lens and wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, both of which ensure high-quality footage in low lighting conditions.
Capture Everything
Although this dash cam doesn’t come with a suction mount, the package includes a 3M mounting bracket that is 360-degree rotatable. You can turn the dash cam’s lens to face whichever direction you want.
Once it is mounted and wired to the cigarette lighter, the KDLINKS X3 will start recording automatically as soon as you start the engine. It will also stop recording when the vehicle’s ignition goes off. You won’t need to hit the ON and OFF button to start and stop recording.
Additional Features
The other two automatic features are G-sensor and motion detector. While the G-sensor automatically detects impacts and locks current video files so that you don’t lose them, the motion detector senses any movement that is close to your vehicle.
The dash cam then records a short footage of the activity and shuts off once the movement stops. It does so even when the vehicle’s engine is off. That is made possible by the camera’s built-in battery.
You won’t get a free SD card with this dash cam. That’s a bummer, but the good news is that SD cards are not expensive. It supports cards with up to 128GB capacity. Other than that you won’t have to buy anything else separately.
The package comes with everything you need, including a user manual, car charger, USB cable, 3M mounting kit, and a 12-month warranty.
